Week 4 Update
Development:
Coding...Week 4 (4/23-4/29/2022)
Tuesday…Lucy’s been working on polishing the code and finalizing it. They got some random events coded in, and have been playing around with the probability function. The hatred stat is now coded in along with the ability to remove it.
We also discussed the process of merging the main game and main menu scenes into one file, and how we’ll go about importing the sound effects and audio for the main game.
Thursday…Lucy focused on tidying up the code today and will get the game ready for combining for Tuesday’s play session.
Salem began to write voice lines to run through SAM (Software Automatic Mouth), and will begin altering and importing them to Unity over the weekend.

Artwork...Week 4 (4/23-4/29/2022)
When we got back on Tuesday, Whitney finished the main menu background!
Whitney also went back to working on the special event background animations this week, and ended up finishing the “spiral” animation. She worked on the second animation on Thursday and will continue to do so over the next couple days.
Salem also imported the UI buttons into the scene and got to work on making an original logo for the main menu.
Fabrication:
Assembling...Week 4 (4/23-4/29/2022)
Over the weekend, Anna finished assembling the digital guy! Now he is whole. He just needs some more skin!
Tuesday…we discussed where we would put the conductive spots on the guy, and Anna finished attaching them today.
Salem drew out a quick diagram for Anna to illustrate their idea for the alternative controller for the main menu.
Thursday…Anna finished up the main menu controller, and tested it as well! Felting on the guy is also going swimmingly, and Anna will continue to work on him so that we can test him next Tuesday.
